ART OF INFINITY present new remix albums

25 years after their album debut, ART OF INFINITY present a special remix version of their complete works. “The Art of Cinematic Audio” consists of two parts with a total of 55 short pieces of music taken from the four albums released and provided with new titles.

The German music project was founded in 1996 by Thorsten Sudler-Mainz and Thorsten Rentsch and released four albums between 2000 and 2012 on the Prudence label via BSC Music. Highly praised by the press, ART OF INFINITY succeeded in creating their very own fusion of art rock, ambient and pop, inspired by Pink Floyd.

Music by ART OF INFINITY has already been used several times in TV documentaries on German television, which led to the idea of presenting the essence of the music with tracks in compact lengths to bring it closer to editors on the one hand and lovers and friends of high-quality sounding hi-fi productions on the other.

The creativity that the producers displayed in the studio in collaboration with some illustrious guest musicians can be heard in every sequence on this surprising release.

With “The Art of Cinematic Audio”, the timeless beauty of ART OF INFINITY's soundscapes appears in new splendor.

"Sounds between ambient, art rock and electronica - a mixture reminiscent of Pink Floyd and Brian Eno that conjures up the mood of a science fiction film." (SaitenKult.de)

"The Art Of Cinematic Audio - Part One" is a real statement in terms of electronica, ambient or artrock." (Rocktimes.de)

“The source material, which is occasionally quite epic, has been compressed into clear little gems, which sometimes provide one-minute, two-minute, but never more than three minutes of entertainment, which makes the whole thing seem like a showcase.” (BetreutesProggen.de)

"At the interface between ambient and artrock à la Pink Floyd". (Eclipsed Rockmagazin)

"The Art Of Cinematic Audio’ offers a good opportunity to immerse yourself in the ambient soundscapes, which have been enriched with art and dreampop, world music and sometimes even Floydian elements." (Empire Rock Magazine)

"Timeless musical beauty, shadowy musical passages, sensuality with the voices of Eva, Alquimia and Ann, delicate ambient art-rock prog rock with electronic touches. Looking forward to the second part." (Progcensor)
